an educational partnership | Skills Enrichment Program Celebrating its 20th anniversary year, the Skills Enrichment Program (SEP) is a summer program that partners Chandler School, Mayfield Junior School, Polytechnic School, and Westridge School with the Pasadena Unified School District. SEP provides an intensive five-week summer school experience for Pasadena Unified students who have demonstrated strong academic potential and a commitment to learning. SEP began at Polytechnic School in the summer of 1990 with 55 Pasadena Unified students and now serves 400 students annually across the four campuses. The program’s goal is to offer qualified students from grades 5 through 12 with an enriching summer experience that will enhance their academic careers. SEP works to retain students all eight years of the program in order to provide them with a fully balanced college preparatory experience. The program is offered at no cost to participants. Operating funds are raised jointly by the SEP executive director and development directors at each of the participating independent schools. With the generous support of those listed below, this valuable and successful program continues to benefit hundreds of students each year. The Ahmanson Foundation Anonymous John W.
