alumnae accomplishments in the arts Coriana Close ’02 is an assistant professor of photography at the University of Memphis. Her first show, “Hyper Descent,” opened at the Jones Hall Gallery in Memphis in 2011.
In between teaching voice lessons at Westover and Chase Collegiate School, Marissa Famiglietti Apland ’00 has paired with singer Michael Amante for a series of concerts, “From Pavarotti to Broadway,” featuring songs from opera, Broadway, jazz, and pop.
In 2010, Elise Drew ’03 joined the renowned José Limón Dance Company, premiering at the Baryshnikov Arts Center in Manhattan. The company has since performed at a monthlong residency at Skidmore College and a five-week tour through Mexico.
