Admire the work of Weston’s most talented young artists at the 16th annual Student Artist Showcase. Presented by the Arts Council of Greater Weston and the City of Weston, in collaboration with the Weston Friends of the Library, the exhibit features approximately 170 pieces created in Weston area schools. The South Florida Symphony, under the direction of Maestra Sebrina Maria Alfonso, returns to Weston Town Center for the always popular Outdoor Pops Concert. This year’s program features talented vocalists performing a variety of musical genres to appeal to all ages, including songs from Disney’s Encanto The concert, presented by the Weston Music Society and the City of Weston in partnership with the Arts Council of Greater Weston, begins at 6:30 p.m. behind the Bell Tower. Join the Sikh Youth Association, Town of Southwest Ranches, Mission Vida, and Heartway Church for the 5th annual Unity in Diversity 5K Run/Walk. All are invited to take part in this event aimed at fostering an understanding of people from all walks of life. Proceeds benefit the Town’s college scholarship fund.
