PGA CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP OVERVIEW

The PGA National Club Championship represents a one of a kind event that brings together Amateur Club Champions from golf courses coast to coast. This event is a celebration of the best amateur players and their PGA Professionals who help them achieve greatness at their local club.

PURPOSE

The PGA of America is made up of nearly 29,000 PGA Professionals who are ready to help you further your love for the game of golf. Whether you’re a beginner, a PGA TOUR or LPGA Pro, or like most—somewhere in between, our mission is to help you navigate your golf journey so that you can take it as far as you want to go.

At every golf course there is a club champion. To become the best player at his or her golf course, a Club Champion needs to work hard, practice and receive good guidance from a coach. Striving to be your best is one of the shared values at the PGA of America and The PGA Club Championship celebrates and represents achievements by the best amateur golfers and their PGA Coaches. Whether you are a club champion who wants to re-live the moment you won the championship, an amateur player seeking guidance on how to win your first club championship, or a PGA Coach celebrating championship moments and lessons learned, The PGA Club Championship is a place for everyone to be their best. OPPORTUNITIES

Winners of the 2020 Club Championships received an invitation to the 2021 PGA National Club Championship at Pinehurst Resort in March 2021. The Western NY PGA Section had representatives from four facilities at the PGA National Club Championship in March 2021. The championship will have 4 divisions (Men’s, Women’s, Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s). Each division will play 54 holes of competition on courses No. 2, No. 6, and No. 8.
