Tristan (Weymouth) Cameron (Bridport) Where is your business? Weymouth & Bridport What area do you cover? Dorset What do you do? Domestic, agricultural, Commercial & industrial electrical installation, maintenance & repairs. Scheduled electrical testing including fire alarm & emergency lighting. Why did you decide to become an electrician? Tristan: I followed in my father’s footsteps. He was an electrician based in Bridport for over 50 years. Cameron: I wanted to be
involved in the family business. What is a typical day like? Tristan: Overseeing day to day running of the business. Managing client relationships. Cameron: Estimating, purchasing & organising
engineer schedules. What do you love about it? Tristan: Client relationships, we have been very fortunate in business to work for some very nice genuine people and to work for many local large companies, whilst still
looking after Mrs Smith down the road. Cameron: Everyday is different and ensuring customer satisfaction. What do you like least? Tristan: Nothing! Cameron: Nothing! Good earning potential? You reap what you sow. Do you have any advice to youngsters who want to enter your trade? It’s a fantastic industry with lots of potential if you work hard. If you had your time again, would you do anything differently? Tristan: Astronaut Cameron: Nothing different What do you offer customers?
