Jordan Mowat is an accomplished Michi Saagiig Ojibwe Powwow & Round Dance singer as well as a contemporary music artist from Alderville First Nation, ON, Canada.

He has travelled extensively across Turtle Island to share his voice both on the drum and with his guitar. Traditional and contemporary music is filled in his home, especially for his children, as a means of staying connected and reminding them of who they are as young Anishinabeg. With time and being surrounded by the beautiful heartbeat that comes from his drum or the strumming harmonies of his guitar, it's that type of medicine he continues to share with the people.

Aside from his musical journey and cultural experiences, Jordan is an Indigenous Graduation Coach with the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board. Through advocation; mentorship, academic, and mental health support, his goal is to help Indigenous youth realize their full potential - that they have a purpose - and to always be proud of who they are. When he’s not helping others, he is helping himself by exercising his mind, body, and spirit through physical wellness and the medicine that comes from music.

Born and raised on the Alderville First Nation territory in central Ontario, Canada, Cale Crowe was fueled by music from the time he had a heartbeat. As a child, he and his sister were constantly taking in the musical taste of their parents; From classic rock titans like The Rolling Stones, Guns N Roses, Aerosmith, & Motley Crue, to country greats like Johnny Cash, Shania Twain, Willie Nelson, and Brooks & Dunn, music seemed to envelope every aspect of Cale’s life. That love of music & sense of soundtrack would lead him to picking up his father’s guitar at age 12 and performing live for his first audience at 14. Cale himself says that “[at the time] music was [his] way of connecting & communicating with an outside world [he] longed to be a part of.”

Today, performing using an acoustic guitar, an electronic drum pad, and a loop station pedal, Cale has performed at bars, theatres, and festivals from Sydney, Nova Scotia to Albuquerque, New Mexico. His blend of campfire-style folk and modern pop/rock reflects & builds upon the taste he developed all those years ago. To date, he has two EPs released - 2015's "Stars & Promises" and 2017's "Til You Let Me Go" - and is currently in the studio recording a debut full-length album. Cale describes the songs that make up his discography as chapters of his life - not necessarily told in order but made to encapsulate moments of his life and the lives of those closest to him. Cale only hopes to continue to connect with people and uplift them with his music. Wherever life takes him, Cale will keep telling his story behind the strings of an acoustic guitar and a microphone.
