Police looking for seven men that robbed a church Wepener: â– Police at Wepener; Free State, are looking for seven armed male suspects that robbed a mosque on the 14 February 2019. Three people were injured after they were assaulted by the suspects and undisclosed amount of money and cellular phones, were robbed. It is alleged that when the suspects pounced at the church, some congregants had already left the church and the few that were still
having a chat outside, were forced back inside the church building before they were assaulted with firearms and with a knife. The three victims were transported to a Hospital by Ambulance. The seven suspects then fled the scene on foot and vanished into the nearby mountains. The Police would like to appeal to the community to assist the Police with any information that could resolve the case or lead to subsequent
