DAY 1: TRAVEL TO PARACAS Travel south from Lima to Paracas City. On arrival transfer to the local airport for your flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines. In the middle of the Ica Desert, these huge unexplained geoglyphs, depicting animals, objects and plants, can only be truly appreciated from the air. You’ll see the hummingbird, whale, spider and condor, among others, during your flight. After landing transfer to Paracas City and your hotel. (B)

DAY 1: TRAVEL TO PUERTO MALDONADO You will be met on arrival at the airport by a representative of Posada Amazonas, your jungle lodge for the next three nights. Together you will transfer to the port to meet the boat that will take you two hours into the Peruvian Amazon to your lodge. Enjoy a tour of the area around the lodge, keeping an eye out for squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, parrots and macaws as you explore. (L,D) DAY 2: AMAZON ADVENTURE Take a boat to Lake Tres Chimbadas, a small lake with a big wildlife scene! Here you’ll embark on a canoe trip along its shores, spotting the local animal residents. Return to the lodge for lunch before heading out on foot on the paths around the lodge where you’ll be able to see a

variety of jungle insects and maybe large animals too. You’ll do a walk after dinner as well, to see the animals that only come out at night! (B,L,D) DAY 3: CLAY LICK A short hike will bring you to a ‘collpa’, a wall of clay that is used by parrots and macaws as a clay lick. Early in the morning hundreds of birds flock to this and the many other, clay licks to eat, creating a wonderful natural spectacle. After lunch at the lodge, a naturalist guide will lead you on an easy hike through the forest. (B,L,D) DAY 4: DEPART THE AMAZON Depart the rainforest lodge and return to Puerto Maldonaldo by boat. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B)

DAY 1: SET SAIL FROM PUNTA ARENAS You will be met on arrival at airport in Punta Arenas and transferred to the port to check in and embark on your cruise ship. This evening there will be a welcome toast before departing across the Straits of Magellan. (L,D) DAY 2: AINSWORTH BAY & TUCKER ISLETS The day begins in Admiralty Sound, surrounded by snowcapped peaks and breathtaking panoramas. Go ashore by Zodiac at Ainsworth Bay for a guided excursion. Back onboard, cruise towards the Tucker Islets and head back out on the Zodiacs to see the Magellan penguin colony. (B,L,D) DAY 3: PIA GLACIER & GLACIER ALLEY Sail into the Beagle Channel to reach the Pia Fjord. Board the Zodiacs for an excursion to Pia Glacier. (B,L,D) DAY 5: DEPART FROM USHUAIA Sail into Argentine waters and dock in the port of Ushuaia, the world's southernmost city.
