Platinum Jubilee!

Thank you Wendover Parish Council for the flags and everyone else who decorated their property, adding to the festive atmosphere.

We had great Jubilee celebrations locally over the four day Bank Holiday weekend. Humble apologies to Weston Turville as we published the wrong date for their Picnic in the Park. Well done all local Parish Councils.

Who doesn’t like cake?! On Saturday 4 June two young residents of Chiltern Road, Grace and Mabel, celebrated 70 years of ERII by hosting a Jubilee Cake Sale with all proceeds going to Lindengate. Despite wind and rain, family, friends and neighbours came out and bought over 200 cakes and biscuits. The final total from the event was an amazing £300!!!! Well done girls and thank you to everyone who supported them.

Witchell Partiers collected £150 for Wendover Community Library. The donation was handed over to Wendover Community Library Trust Chairman Phil Mitchell on Saturday 11 June by Witchell residents Jean and Cat.
