CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Wendover’s custom wallcoverings are incredibly durable; however, the wrong cleaning process can jeopardize the integrity of our materials and artwork. It is essential to care for your digital wallcoverings properly.
Standard cleaning should be done with a mild soap and water solution. For best outcomes, Wendover recommends the use of dawn detergent at a 1:10 ratio of soap to water. Gentle scrubbing with a non-abrasive cloth or sponge is encouraged.
STAIN REMOVAL
Stains should immediately be attended to minimize any potential of the staining substance setting into the wallcovering. Mild solutions like a citrus-based cleaner can be used cautiously to remove blemishes.
For tougher stains, some stronger cleaners can be used, but always test your cleaner and process in a less visible area. Citrus-based cleaners are always recommended, but stronger cleaners such as Lestoil® can work for tough stains.
Avoid bleach or ammonia-based cleaners; their chemical compounds can damage the inks used to create your beautiful artwork. Never mix cleaning agents together—violent reactions can occur, resulting in serious injury. Always read and understand product information before using any product. Wendover cannot take liability for any damage to the print when using any solution for cleaning the surface of the wallcovering.
