How long have you lived in Chelan/Douglas County?

I was born and raised on Lake Chelan. My family has enjoyed living on the lake for 6 generations.

What is your current occupation and educational background, and how will that benefit your potential elected role?

I am currently the Executive Director of the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce. I have a BA in both Political Science and Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University. I have served as the Executive Director of the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce. I have a BA in both Political Science and Business

Administration from Pacific Lutheran University. I have served as the Executive Director of the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce for sixteen years and feel that both my community involvement, connection with the region and numerous volunteer boards and roles have really helped me to represent the people of the 12th Legislative District well.

What professional experience do you have that qualifies you for the office you are seeking?

I am currently serving my third term in the House of Representatives. I am the Ranking Member of the Capital Budget and serve on both the Appropriations Committee and the K-12 Education Committee. Before being elected to the State House, I served two terms on the Chelan City Council.

Why did you decide to run for office and what goals or objectives do you seek to accomplish in that role?

I am passionate about serving my community and helping people in some of their most difficult times. I wanted to help build economies across Washington and build job opportunities while advocating for all people in the 12th and their needs.

What policies, processes, programs or services will you champion?

I will continue my work around work-force housing, economic development, tourism and job creation.
