HOW TO JUMP START YOUR VEHICLE WITH WELZH “JUMP-MATE” 12/24 VOLT
The Welzh “Jump-Mate” is a multipurpose tool that provides instant starting power for 12V and 24V vehicles, including LGV, Trucks, Buses, Plant Machinery, and Cars. It works with both petrol and diesel engines.

SAFETY FIRST
Always wear protective eye gear and gloves when working with the Jump-Mate. Do not connect the red and black clamps together, as this may cause a short circuit. Ensure the vehicle’s battery voltage matches the Jump-Mate’s voltage before use. Do not use the Jump-Mate if it or its components are damaged. HOW TO USE
Step 1: Check the Battery Indicator
Before using the Jump-Mate, check the battery indicator. It has 5 lights, and at least 3 lights should be on. If there are fewer than 3 lights on, fully charge the Jump-Mate before attempting to jump-start a vehicle.
Step 2: Connect the Clamps
1. Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle’s battery.
2. Connect the black clamp to a metal part of the vehicle’s frame, away from the battery and any moving parts.
3. Ensure the clamps are securely connected.
Step 3: Press the Booster Button
1. Press and hold the Booster button for 3 seconds.
2. The light above the Booster button will turn blue, indicating that the Jump-Mate is ready to start the vehicle.
Step 4: Start the Vehicle
1. Turn the key in the vehicle’s ignition to start the engine.
2. If the engine does not start immediately, wait a few seconds and try again.
Step 5: Disconnect the Clamps
1. Once the vehicle’s engine is running, disconnect the black clamp from the vehicle’s frame first.
2. Then, disconnect the red clamp from the vehicle’s battery.
Step 6: Recharge the Jump-Mate
After using the Jump-Mate, recharge it to ensure it’s ready for the next use.
Caution:
- Do not connect the red and black clamps to each other.
- Do not use the Jump-Mate if the clamps or cables are damaged.
