Spring brings some of Idaho’s top events. Rock out with 500+ bands in Boise, catch the latest indie films as you rub elbows with stars in Sun Valley, or celebrate Idaho Craft Beer Month with a pint of the Gem State’s finest brews.

Treefort Music Fest

Come and enjoy a five-day culture and music experience in downtown Boise. Scheduled for March 22-26 this year, organizers are featuring speakers, classes, workshops, discussions, readings, tastings, art installations and plenty of genre-spanning music. Discover art, activities, appetizing food and drink and much more.

“Every year since the beginning of Treefort, we’ve utilized a variety of spaces for the fest,” said the festival organizers. “It’s a core part of our multi-venue model and creating a festival of discovery.”

The Sun Valley Film Festival

2)celebrates the art of filmmaking with screenings, industry panels, talks with entertainment luminaries and a series of parties. Past celebrity guests include Clint Eastwood, Jodie Foster, Gwyneth Paltrow, Geena Davis and Oliver Stone.

Since 2012 the Sun Valley Film Festival has invited fans and filmmakers to America’s first ski resort to celebrate the magic of storytelling. The year-round Sun Valley Film Initiative develops professionals and illuminates the process of filmmaking, propelling emerging voices with grants and education.

Every spring the Festival celebrates with a slate of cutting-edge films and TV premieres, industry panels, engaging Coffee Talks with entertainment luminaries, a Screenwriters Lab led by award-winning writers, and a series of parties culminating with the spectacular SVFF Awards Bash.

For beer connoisseurs who love to travel, April marks the celebration of Idaho Craft Beer Month, when the state’s breweries, taphouses and restaurants host events, beer specials and more!.
