CLEVELAND – If immersing yourself in the Original Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit Cleveland has you yearning for even more of a Vincent Van Gogh experience, now you can indulge yourself in an exclusive suite at Kimpton Schofield Hotel in the heart of Downtown Cleveland. Sleep under the stars, relax among a field of wheat and surround yourself with some of the artist’s most recognizable works in a one-of-a-kind immersive Van Gogh Suite that shares the rich history and culture of the Dutch Post-Impressionist, ensconced in a luxurious suite and augmented with the Schofield’s personal touch and exceptional amenities. Overlooking East Ninth Street, the suite offers vistas that include Playhouse Square and Lake Erie. And the living room, bedroom and bathroom provide a captivating experience for guests to be submersed and captivated by some of Van Gogh’s greatest works. The Schofield partnered with Original Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit Cleveland and worked with Mike Wiertel of Liquid Image Corp. of America to curate the suite, which is conveniently just a 10-minute drive from the blockbuster digital exhibit. -56- | ExtendedWeekendGetaways ~ January, 2022

“Staying in a beautiful suite wrapped in Van Gogh’s greatest works is definitely a one-of-a-kind way to extend the sense of immersion associated with the exhibit,” said Jordan Nye, the Schofield’s director of sales and marketing. “Whether unwinding in the suite or experiencing some of our other amenities, this will be a beautiful, different and sought-after experience, exclusive to the Kimpton Schofield and to Cleveland.” Upon arriving at the suite, the exterior door is wrapped in Country Road in Provence by Night, featuring cypress trees, the unmistakable symbol of Provence. The living room provides a 360-degree experience, with all walls wrapped in Wheat Fields Near Auvers 1888, demonstrating Van Gogh’s fascination with the vast fields of wheat that stretched about Auvers-sur-Oise, a town north of Paris where he lived the last two months of his life. In the luxurious bathroom, the wall behind the bathtub features Almond Blossom, the flowering trees special to Van Gogh, representing awakening and hope. Finally, guests will sleep under the stars, with the bedroom wrapped in Starry Night – one of the most recognized pieces of art in the world – allowing peaceful and comfortable slumber. “Our partnership with the Schofield is affording anyone who comes to our exhibit another immersive and almost surreal way to be surrounded by Van Gogh’s artwork,” said exhibit representative Rita Russo. “Cleveland is the only city that offers this suite experience, furthering a personal journey of experiencing this amazing artwork.”
