Back to the Basics back to the Future! Ozone for storing energy? Werner Von Siemens said that the (his!) ozone generator is a wonderful device that makes it possible to STORE energy in a Gas. Until that time we stored electricity in bottles (Leidse flessen) = Condensator. Mr. von Siemens invented also the electrical generator. Now producing large quantities of electricity with the help of the technology of James Watt. NASA invested the possibilities to use Ozone as rocket fuel. As far as my knowledge this was very promising but not safe.If the safety for storing Ozone is improved we can use SAFE both gases coming from the cathode and the anode if we apply a electrolyze process. These problems (safe handling of concentrated ozone) and future possibilities are analogue of the storage of TNT It seemed (to me) that we have forgotten this property of ozone and “distracted to the many new and also other promising technology’s Based on the literature this looks possible to me. To give a example in a Dutch thesis H. Boer (1949) ozone reactions with several aromatic structures chinoline / naphthalene They used a classical electrolytic ozone generator Pt anode an Pb Cathode and 0,5 M H2SO4 and produced 18.2 to 14 mmol ozone/hour 17 to 14,7 % weight 14 A ca. 2,5 volt 1 ohm at 11 gr C A

This technology equals air feed ozone generators but with a output of state of art oxygen feed ozone generators. We now live in the time of nanotechnology this solid (zeolite) nanoparticles? have many new and yet undiscovered properties Maybe the time has come to focus again on the safe handling of concentrated ozone solutions. And put to the test 3 cars one driven on Hydrogen one driven on Ozone or a car with ozone and organic (bio)fuel. As stated by Ronald Regan in his state of the union 1986 "Never has there been a more exciting time to be alive, a time of rousing wonder and heroic achievement. As they said in the film Back to the Future: 'Where we're going, we don't need roads'."
