he entire Riverside police force posed for this group portrait on the stairs of the Riverside Town Hall in 1927. Even the department mascot was wearing a dress uniform. The village police department of today is a distinguished and well-run organization that provides outstanding service to the community, even though mascots have been replaced by canine units.
