Jalen returns as a sophomore wide receiver for the Wildcats. Originally signed as a cornerback before being moved to wide receiver.
2013 (Freshman) Joined the Wildcats as a walkon freshman in the spring of 2013... Saw action in all 12 games for Weber State during the season...Recorded 36 kickoffs on the season for 2,174 yards...Had an average of 60.4 yards per kickoff...Recorded 19 kicks as touchbacks...Had a season-high seven kickoffs in his first game as a Wildcat, WSU’s 50-40 season-opening win over Stephen F. Austin...Also had five kickoffs in the season-ending win over Idaho State...Averaged over 59 yards per kickoff in 10 of the 12 games...Had one field goal attempt which he made, a 42-yard field goal in WSU’s Homecoming game against Sacramento State on Sept. 28...Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors in Athletic Therapy.
2013 (Freshman) Saw action in all 12 games as a redshirt freshman for the Wildcats... Recorded seven total tackles on the season with two solo tackles and five assisted tackles...Had a season-high two tackles at Montana on Nov. 16.
Bonneville High School Graduated from Bonneville High School in 2012 where he played for coach Randy Johnson...Only played football his senior year of high school...As a senior in 2011 he played in 10 games and made nine field goals and 21 PAT’s...Made a 54-yard field goal against Roy... Also made the game winning PAT in the 4A-5A All-Star game...Was a soccer player prior to playing football...Was named Region 5 Co-MVP as a kicker in 2011 by the Standard-Examiner...Was the soccer team captain as a senior and earned All-Region honors as a forward... Posted a perfect 4.0 G.P.A. during his senior year at Bonneville.
2012 Sat out the season as a red shirt after signing with Weber State in February 2012. Mira Mesa High School Graduated in 2012 from Mira Mesa High School...Played for coach Gary Blevins at Mira Mesa...Was named Varsity Team MVP and was named to the All-Academic Team.
