Ashley Nigro was recently promoted to the position of personnel security specialist for the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service, Immigration Customs and Enforcement, Boston Regional Office. This position involves conducting background investigations in order to render work suitability decisions for contractors seeking employment opportunities within New England federal activities. As a recent recipient of the Department of Homeland Security 2008 Fiscal Year Achievement Award, Ashley is currently attending Suffolk University studying for a master’s degree in crime and justice studies.
