for four yrs old and upwards x Total prize fund £8000 Owners Prize Money. 1st £3231, 2nd £1615, 3rd £808, 4th £404, 5th £202. (Penalty Value £4224.80)

Race Description

This is the second division of Race 1. Some races can often prove very popular with owners and trainers and as a result more horses are declared to run than the official safety limit allows for. To avoid horses being denied a run, which is obviously disappointing for connections, the British Horseracing Authority allows the race to be split into two divisions, with each contest carrying identical race conditions.

JUST ANOTHER ONE: Following its run on 4/1/2023 it was reported that the horse would prefer a quicker surface.

Probable S.P’s: 9-4 Issar d’Airy (FR), 9-2 Fame And Fun (IRE), 6-1 Sassified (IRE), 8-1 Just Another One (IRE), 12-1 Almost Gotaway (IRE), 18-1 Arthalot (IRE), 20-1 Let’s Go Amigo (IRE), Per Vino Veritas (GB), 22-1 Justshortofabubble (GB), 66-1 Light In The Sky (FR), 100-1 Argus (IRE)

PLAY SMARTER

If ISSAR D’AIRY is in the same form as when winning comfortably at Lingfield last Tuesday he should take a bit of stopping under a penalty. Fame And Fun was running well when departing 2 out at Wincanton last week and looks next best. Handicap-newcomer Sassified would enter the reckoning if the betting speaks in his favour
