TODAY’S TIPS
Race One
MOONDIAL'S recent all-weather form looks solid and strikes as a leading contender for a race of this nature. She has shown a tendency to race with up with the pace and, having already won over this trip for her previous yard, has very little to fear dropping back in distance now returning on turf. Penny Be and Duisker both have previous course experience and are feared most, while Desert Swirl also has potential.
WIN: MOONDIAL
Race Two
DANGER: PENNY BE

Under The Twilight arguably holds the strongest form but youth may win the day, with the progressive threeyear-oldTIGERBAYedgingpreference.Shewasn'tbeatenfarinadeeper-lookingraceatGoodwoodlastmonth and another step forward can see her add to her tally Beverley winner Abbadia also warrants consideration.
WIN: TIGER BAY
Race Three

Alyanaabi is out of an unraced half-sister to 1,000 Guineas/Coronation Stakes winner Ghanaati and has to merit a second look in the betting, while Labalaba, who cost 210,000 pounds at the Goffs UK Breeze-Up sale in April, certainly commands interest. However, the one who appeals most is EMBODY, who is a full-sister to Breeder Cup Mile winner, Expert Eye and she adds the most spice to this intriguing novice event
WIN: EMBODY
Race Four

MALKA should have learned plenty from her debut third at Goodwood last month and any natural improvement could make the daughter of Nathaniel tough to beat Mistral Star wasn't disgraced when placing third on her return to action at Newbury in April and also enters calculations Sea Theme looks the most interesting of the two newcomers and any market support for William Haggas' filly requires close attention.
WIN: MALKA
Race Six
DANGER:MISTRALSTAR
DUKEMAN is related to a few smart types and made a pleasing return to action when filling the runner-up spot at Redcar last month. He retains the mark from that outing and is fancied to get the better of Savrola, who secured a game win at Wolverhampton on his latest run. Rogue Rocket sports a first-time visor and also warrants a market chec following his first run of the season at Haydock
WIN: DUKEMAN
Race Seven
DANGER: SAVROLA
Graham was only denied by three-quarters of a length over C&D on his latest outing and he is entitled to be in the mix off the same mark The vote, though, goes to GALLIMIMUS, who reverts to turf following a disappointing run at Lingfield earlier this month. He had secured back-to-back victories at Leicester over 1m 2f at the end of May and an extra couple of furlongs may not be enough to hold him back Afloat completes the shortlist.
WIN: GALLIMIMUS
DANGER: GRAHAM
I am particularly pleased to continue our sponsorship of the Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai - Racing Excellence Apprentice Handicap Series here at Salisbury Racecourse for the 2023 season.
This is a very unique series which will help mould up and coming riders in so many ways. Discipline and respect are the foundation of this series and with the guidance of George Baker, it will be of enormous benefit to the next generation of jockeys into the future.
Salisbury is a racecourse close to my heart as when I was living in the UK as a young man, I visited the track on many occasions and hold some wonderful memories of the venue.
Our investment into this series compliments our other Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai sponsorships across the UK in Newmarket and York.
Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai would like to offer our congratulations to the Board and Managment at Salisbury Racecourse on this terrific initiative and wish all those who participate, every success as this series plays out over the summer months.
