PLAY SMARTER

SUMMERGHAND is well handicapped again and is worth siding with to stage a revival faced with a less competitive scenario. Aphelios could be spot on for this after returning from a short break to finish fifth at Windsor last week and is second choice ahead of sole 3-y-o Kitai.

A representative of Northern Commercials will present a memento to the winning owner in the Winner’s Enclosure after this race. A cash prize of £100 will be presented to the stable employee in charge of the best turned out horse in this race.

The winning horse will also receive a sack of carrots kindly donated by Poskitts Vegetable Farmers and Growers
