DECLARED RUNNERS 8 2022: FLORAL SPLENDOUR 3 9 1 PJ McDonald 11-4 (James Tate) 11 ran
Stewards Note:
OPERATION GIMCRACK: Following its run on 1/7/2023 it was reported that the horse ran green.
DARK DESIRE: Following its run on 9/6/2022 it was reported that the horse finished lame.
Probable S.P’s: 5-4 Utilis (IRE), 7-2 Dark Desire (GB), 6-1 Crown Dreams (GB), 7-1 Inca Queen (IRE), 16-1 Sacred Falls (IRE), 20-1 Operation Gimcrack (IRE)
PLAY SMARTER
This could go to one of the two newcomers, with INCA QUEEN chanced over Crown Dreams before market clues. Dark Desire needs keeping an eye on in the market as she was prominent in the betting when pulling up lame on her course debut last summer Utilis sets the standard and this is easier than the 0-105 Newcastle handicap he ran poorly in on his return.
TIMEFORM PREDICTION: 1.INCA QUEEN (IRE) 2.CROWN DREAMS 3.DARK DESIRE

LAURA’S BREEZE: Following its run on 14/6/2023 it was reported that the horse ran too freely
NIGIRI: Following its run on 26/6/2023 it was reported that the horse reared and was slowly away

PRINCESS NAOMI: Following its run on 13/6/2023 it was reported that the trainer could not explain the poor run.
NIGIRI shaped really well in unfavourable circumstances at Wolverhampton last time and Ralph Beckett’s filly is taken to make a successful handicap debut. Streaky Bay returned from a year-long layoff with a win at Yarmouth earlier in the month and can go well again from only a 2lb higher mark, whilst Princess Naomi is also respected if able to shrug off a rare poor effort.
