As always, we have a great afternoon of racing in store, kicking off at 2.05pm with The Haydock Park Apprentice Training Series Apprentice Handicap Stakes, which takes place over a mile. The last runners and riders of the afternoon will be off at 5pm

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who are supporting racing today, including Shape Engineering, who sponsor the Handicap Stakes over six furlongs at 3.15pm and also the race at 4.25pm which is being ran in memory of Barry Wilson Senior We wish them all a wonderful day here at Haydock Park

Over the coming weeks and months we still have plenty fixtures to look forward to, including the Rose of Lancaster Carnival on August 11th & 12th The weekend will kick-off with a great evening of racing on Friday, followed by what is set to be an incredible evening of entertainment with the one and only Nile Rodgers & Chic. Saturday the 12th of August, which features the Betfred Rose of Lancaster Stakes, is also our annual Ladies’ Day. This week we announced that The Buyers Club Clothing are our official partner for the day’s Style Awards and we’re really looking forward to welcoming them, and all of you, to the racecourse.
