CITY SELECTIONS COMPANY MINX is one of two C&D winners in the field following last week’s smooth triumph at the Essex track in this grade. She is the joint top-rated horse in the field and it makes a lot of sense to stick with her while she’s clearly in good nick and has a 7lb claimer in the plate. Moveonup knows his way around here and makes some appeal, while Glen Etive gets weight from all of his rivals and now has Hollie Doyle doing the steering.

PLAY SMARTER COMPANY MINX opened her account for 2022 over C&D a week ago and is weighted to go in again here in a race where plenty arrive on something of a retrieval mission. Recent Yarmouth scorer Admirable Lad rates the chief threat, although course-scorer Moveonup is another who needs considering on these terms if shrugging off a modest latest effort.
