CITY SELECTIONS MIZZEN YOU bumped into a couple of promising types over the winter, when third, and then runner-up over the C&D. Rae Guest’s filly sets a decent form standard here and, if making the most of her plum draw, she can shed the maiden tag this afternoon. Mountbatten was another debutant winner for the Archie Watson team when making all at this venue in January, but was later disqualified. It was a polished performance, however, and must be feared back here, while Flag High should be much more streetwise out of the stalls and could play a leading role on his second career start.

PLAY SMARTER MOUNTBATTEN was first past the post over C&D on his debut and looks like the type to do better, so gets the verdict here. Mizzen You was consistent last autumn and should prove the main danger on form, whilst Sonairt should step forward from his recent debut third at Kempton.
