Last seen finishing behind subsequent Listed winner Auria, the daughter of Iffraaj could be anything, while her stable’s recent form only enhances her claims. Purple Ribbon impressed when triumphing over C&D on debut, although a 4lb penalty makes life a lot tougher. Both Nizaaka and Magnificence weren’t beaten far on their respective debuts and they are entitled to the utmost respect.

The market should prove highly informative, but Roger Varian’s NIZAAKA showed up very well when third on her recent debut at Newcastle and is taken to come out on top. Debutante Top Table rates a big threat from the Gosden team, especially if the market speaks in her favour, while C&D scorer Purple Ribbon and the returning Miss Marble can’t be ruled out easily either in an intriguing novice.
