CITY SELECTIONS Despite not getting the clearest of runs, BOOMSHALAA ran on well to finish second in a big-field handicap at Royal Ascot on just his fourth outing. Although he failed to justify favouritism last time out, he was by no means disgraced having been drawn on the wrong side of the track. The unexposed three-year-old may prove too classy for these rivals, while Dream Composer and Crimson Sand can follow him home.

Tongue Strap worn by No. 5. Stewards Note: INVER PARK: Following its run on 19/6/2021 it was reported that the horse was found to have bled.
Probable S.P’s: 5-2 Boomshalaa (GB), 11-4 Crimson Sand (IRE), 9-2 Ahlawi (GB), 5-1 Dream Composer (FR), 9-1 Inver Park (GB)
BOOMSHALAA is best forgiven his latest run at Newmarket as he was an excellent second at Royal Ascot the time before and his profile is generally a progressive one. Crimson Sand took his record to 3 from 3 on synthetics over C&D last time and rates the main threat.
