Evacuation Procedure

18 Bangor Racecourse has enhanced Safety & Security measures to ensure your safety, comfort and enjoyment of the day. However, an incident may occur which is beyond our control and it is important that you are aware of how we intend to look after you in the event of an emergency.

We employ professionally trained and experienced stewards who are located predominantly around the course and are identifiable by their uniform

In the event of a situation that requires partial or full evacuation of the stands or racecourse, announcements will be broadcast and stewards will undertake the responsibility of ushering you to a place of safety; it is essential that you follow their instructions Please take your immediate belongings with you and proceed out of the area quickly and calmly with the guidance of the stewards.

The above is precautionary only and we trust that the procedures will never be required However, in the event of an emergency, remember:

• Take your belongings with you;

• Under the directions of the stewards, proceed quickly and calmly to the safe area.
