Rachel sadly passed away in 2015 after bravely battling cancer, which she did until the very end with dignity.

Rachel left two amazing sons, Matthew and Scott, who she was so proud of.
Rachels journey started in Delph, Lancashire and then she moved to Anglesey where she started working with horses at John Hewitt’s riding stables, progressing to riding and hunting the point to point racehorses, before becoming assistant trainer at Richard Hewitt’s licensed yard.
Her youngest son Scott Hewitt will be presenting the trophy today.
Her family, including Mother Margaret, Brother Martin and many friends were so proud of her.
