FISHER‘N’CHIPS I am sure you will all join with me in saluting our Tea Lady Rachael who will be providing refreshments for the penultimate time before hanging up her tea cloth next week. Rachael has been responsible for raising thousands of pounds over the years, her boots will be hard to fill !! As a life member of the club I am sure we will see her and Fred supporting as often as they can. As I said in last weeks programme we need people for all positions to keep the club running, so if you or somebody you know can make tea or can help in any way please contact me. On the field today we welcome Holmans who are struggling at the wrong end of the league, we wish them and all their supporters all the best for the future. photoPERRAN Over 3000 photos of the 2011-12 season are available to view online at www.perranwellfc.com/perranphoto A message from two fans Although we don’t know where Samuel and Thomas Phillips will be playing their football next season, depending upon where their future lies, it may well not be in Cornwall, and our visit to watch them play last Saturday is perhaps the last chance we had to watch them play for Perranwell F.C. Whatever

happens, we both just want to say how much we appreciate how welcome the boys have been made at Perranwell, and how much we have enjoyed watching them play for, and be part of the local set-up at the club. We know it helped them settle into their Cornwall life and is an experience they have both enjoyed very much. It was great to be made welcome and to meet and make friends with many of the regular supporters, when we were able to come and see a match from London, and I have especially enjoyed being able to have a cup of tea and a Mars bar at half-time (thanks Rachel), something I have never been able to do before with any of the boys previous clubs and probably won’t experience again! It’s such a nice touch! We hope Perranwell FC continues to thrive and have some good results. Good luck, and thanks everyone we met and have got to know, it’s been a pleasure. Lesley and Rowland – Mum and Dad.

Theawayteam Name: Holmans SC Founded: 1948 Colours: Green and Black Ground: Blaythorne This will be Holmans penultimate match of the season and they will be the first side in the combination league to complete their fixtures on Tuesday 17th April away to Local rivals Illogan. Currently occupying 3rd from bottom they are only 2 points above Mullion who have 2 games in hand. During the season Holmans have pulled off a couple of shock results beating the current league leaders at the time Penryn 2-4 and a good win last week against 4th placed Wendron however a failure to beat fellow strugglers around them throughout the season finds them in relegation trouble. Today will be a massive game for the visitors who need at least another 3 points in their remaining 2 games to avoid relegation to the Trelawny league next season
