Dr. Premik Nagad did his primary medical schooling and was awarded the Orthopaedics certificate from Bijapur, Karnataka and at Shri BM Patil Medical. After completing his master's degree in Orthopaedics along with an MD and doctorate, the doctor was conferred with his certificate from the National Board of Orthopaedics in the Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences at Thiruvalla, Kerala. He began his professional career in 2008 as an observer on the team led by Dr. Abhay Nene as an observer. He was later an academic fellow, and later as a surgical assistant. His duties included coordination of surgeries and fellowships. He joined the Spine Foundation in 2012 and joined the spine surgeons of the team led by Dr. Bhojraj as an associate and coordinator of the Spine Foundation Fellowships.

In the year 2015 , doctor. Nagad was appointed an independent spine surgeon at the Wockhardt Hospital. Later in the year the Dr. Nagad was appointed to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Dr. Nagad is a well-known advisor for Breach Candy Trust Hospital. .. as a trustee of the Spine Foundation and other than his professional duties to Mumbai as well as the adjacent regions and the areas around He also oversees the fellowship program, as well as regional Spine Care Centers over Maharashtra and India to help those who aren't covered by the spinal health system.
