Veiligheid, gebruik en reizen
• Voor de aankoop moet elk kinderzitje in de auto worden geïnstalleerd om te controleren of het correct kan worden geïnstalleerd en gebruikt in de betreffende auto. Het overeenstemmen van het model van het kinderzitje met het autotype is een van de belangrijkste veiligheidscriteria. De hulp van de verkoper tijdens de eerste installatie garandeert ook dat de installatie volledig correct zal zijn.
• Onthoud dat ouders altijd verantwoordelijk zijn voor de veiligheid van het kind tijdens het rijden. Laat het kind nooit onbeheerd achter in het kinderzitje in de auto of erbuiten.
• Houd nooit uw kind op schoot terwijl de auto in beweging is.
• De veiligste plaats voor uw kind tijdens het reizen is de achterbank van de auto.
• Controleer voor elke rit of de veiligheidsgordels niet beschadigd of verdraaid zijn.
• Wanneer het kinderzitje is geïnstalleerd, moet de rugleuning van de achterbank vergrendeld zijn en mag niet bewegen.
• Controleer voor elke rit of het Avionaut Cosmo kinderzitje niet vastzit in de deur of blootgesteld is aan de beweging van bagage of de rugleuning van de stoel.
• Zorg ervoor dat alle bagage in de auto stevig is bevestigd.
• Gebruik het kinderzitje niet zonder bekleding, aangezien dit deel uitmaakt van het kinderveiligheidssysteem.
• Neem tijdens langere reizen regelmatig korte pauzes. Uw kind heeft ook beweging nodig.
• Bedek altijd het kinderzitje wanneer u de auto parkeert op een zonnige plaats. De bekleding, evenals de metalen en plastic onderdelen, kunnen extreem heet worden en uw kind verbranden.
• Bevestig altijd het kind stevig in het kinderzitje door het vast te maken met de harnasriemen, ook bij gebruik van het zitje buiten de auto.
• Zorg ervoor dat de harnasriemen goed zijn vastgemaakt, zodat het kind correct in het zitje zit.
• We raden af om gebruikte kinderzitjes te kopen - u kunt nooit zeker zijn van hun geschiedenis. Als u echter besluit een gebruikt kinderzitje te kopen, kies er dan een waarvan de gebruiksgeschiedenis bekend is.
• Gebruik het Cosmo kinderzitje niet langer dan 10 jaar.
• Vervang uw kinderzitje als het betrokken is geweest bij een ongeval.
• Maak geen wijzigingen aan het kinderzitje. Ze kunnen leiden tot gedeeltelijk of volledig verlies van de productveiligheid.
• Het kinderzitje moet altijd in de auto worden bevestigd, zelfs als er geen kind in wordt vervoerd.
• De fabrikant houdt rekening met het feit dat het kinderzitje de bekleding van de voertuigstoel kan beschadigen. Dit is onvermijdelijk vanwege de vereiste strakke pasvorm van het veiligheidszitje. De fabrikant is niet verantwoordelijk voor eventuele schade die hierdoor wordt veroorzaakt. Zorg ervoor dat de riemen goed zijn vastgemaakt, zodat het kind correct in het zitje zit.
• De riemen die het kind vasthouden, mogen niet zonder hoezen worden gebruikt. Zorg ervoor dat u maximaal één vinger tussen de riem en het kind kunt plaatsen op 11 cm. Als deze afstand groter is, trek dan de riem strakker aan.
• Pas ze aan zodat de hoogte van de harnasriemen parallel staat aan het niveau van de schouders van het kind. ONTHOUD: Elk kind heeft verschillende lichaamsverhoudingen - controleer regelmatig de positie van de riem ten opzichte van de schouders. Dit is nodig om de veiligheid van het kind in het zitje te waarborgen.
• Als u uw kind wilt beschermen tegen de zon, bevestig dan de zonneklep en vouw deze uit. De zonneklep maakt deel uit van het kinderzitje.
• Gebruik het FIRST- (Avionaut Cosmo) kinderzitje wanneer uw kind tussen de 40 cm en 87 cm lang is en niet meer dan 13 kg weegt. Bij het installeren van de FIRST (Avionaut Cosmo) stoel, gebruik de stoel naar voren gericht, die is uitgerust met driepunts veiligheidsgordels, de gordels moeten strak worden getrokken en door alle punten van de stoel die gemarkeerd zijn in het groen worden gehaald. Instructies voor de juiste installatie zijn te vinden in deze handleiding en op de Cosmo sticker, die zich aan de zijkant van de stoel bevindt.
• Gebruik alleen een kinderzitje dat naar voren gericht is en is uitgerust met driepuntsgordels volgens de ECE R16-standaard.
• Test de juiste installatie van het kinderzitje. Als een van de LED’s
rood oplicht, corrigeer dan de stoelinstallatie en voer de test opnieuw uit. Doe dit totdat de groene LED oplicht. Het wordt aanbevolen dat alle banden die de beperking aan het voertuig vasthouden strak moeten zijn, dat een eventuele steunpoot contact moet maken met de vloer van het voertuig, dat alle banden of impact schilden die het kind beperken moeten worden aangepast aan het lichaam van het kind, en dat riemen niet mogen worden gedraaid.
Onderhoud en hygiëne
1. De bekleding van het kinderzitje kan machinaal worden gewassen op temperaturen tot 30°C.
2. Andere elementen van het veiligheidszitje kunnen worden gewassen met zeep en een zachte spons.
3. Houd uw kinderzitje schoon. Gebruik geen bevochtigingsmiddelen of agressieve reinigingsmiddelen.
4. Gebruik geen smeermiddelen, agressieve chemicaliën of bevochtigers voor bewegende onderdelen of andere onderdelen van het zitje.
Milieu
• Houd plastic verpakkingsdelen buiten bereik van het kind om het risico op verstikking te voorkomen.
• De batterijen die het informatiescherm voeden dat in de basis van het kinderzitje is geplaatst, moeten op de juiste manier worden verwijderd.
• Om redenen van milieubescherming, na gebruik van het zitje, gelieve het op de juiste manier weg te gooien in de daarvoor bestemde afvalbeheerfaciliteit, in overeenstemming met de geldende lokale voorschriften.

- De leeftijd, lengte en gewicht van uw kind - Het merk en type auto en de positie van de stoel waarop u het FIRST (Avionaut Cosmo) kinderzitje in de auto zult installeren.
Garantie
• Het FIRST (Avionaut Cosmo) kinderzitje wordt gedekt door een garantie van 24 maanden.
• Wij verzekeren u hierbij dat het product is vervaardigd volgens de huidige EU-vereisten met betrekking tot veiligheid en kwaliteitsnormen en dat het product op het moment van aankoop vrij is van fabricage- en materiaalfouten.
• De garantie is geldig in het land van aankoop en wordt afgehandeld door de geautoriseerde distributeur.
• De garantie dekt alle fabricagefouten met betrekking tot materialen en vakmanschap, op voorwaarde dat het product wordt gebruikt in overeenstemming met de gebruikershandleiding, onder normale omstandigheden, door de eerste eindgebruiker en binnen 24 maanden na de aankoopdatum.
WD DIFFUSION neemt de verantwoordelijkheid voor de reparatie of vervanging van het defecte product op zich, maar de garantiegever beslist over de keuze van hoe het defect moet worden verholpen en hoe de klacht moet worden afgehandeld.
• De garantie dekt geen schade veroorzaakt door dagelijks gebruik, zoals slijtage van de stof, evenals het natuurlijke verlies van kleuren en achteruitgang van de materialen als gevolg van de normale veroudering van het product.
• De garantie is ook niet van toepassing in geval van schade aan het product als gevolg van ongevallen, niet-naleving van de gebruikershandleiding, onjuist gebruik, schade door nalatigheid, brand, contact met vloeistof of andere externe oorzaken.
• Op het moment van het indienen van een klacht moet het FIRST (Avionaut Cosmo) kinderzitje alle labels of een identificatienummer hebben en mag alleen worden onderhouden door een daartoe gemachtigd persoon.Wil je een klacht indienen?
• Als je een klacht wilt indienen vanwege een defect, neem dan contact op met de verkoper bij wie je het FIRST (Avionaut Cosmo)-zitje hebt gekocht. Bij het indienen van een klacht moet je een aankoopbewijs overleggen dat gedateerd is binnen de 24 maanden voorafgaand aan het verzoek om service.
• Als het nodig is om het product naar een servicecentrum te sturen, moet je het product terugsturen naar de distributeur of verkoper. Zorg er tegelijkertijd voor dat de verzendmethode en
de kosten hiervan worden overeengekomen, aangezien de garantieverstrekker mogelijk weigert om de verzendkosten te dekken bij gebrek aan een dergelijke overeenkomst. Schade en/of defecten die niet gedekt zijn door onze garantie of consumentenrechten, en/of schade en/of defecten van het product die niet gedekt zijn door onze garantie, kunnen worden verholpen tegen een overeengekomen vergoeding.
• Vervang je kinderzitje door een nieuw exemplaar als het betrokken is geweest bij een ongeval. Hiervoor heb je nodig: een politierapport over het ongeval, een foto van het ongeval waarop het zitje te zien is, een aankoopbewijs, bevestiging van de verzekeraar dat het kinderzitje niet is opgenomen in de verzekeringsclaim, de garantiekaart en het zenden van het zitje dat bij het ongeval betrokken was naar ons.

• Consumenten hebben rechten volgens de relevante wetgeving, die per land kan verschillen. Deze garantie heeft geen invloed op consumentenrechten die worden beheerst door relevante nationale wetgeving.

Sécurité, utilisation et voyages
• Avant l’achat, chaque siège auto pour enfant doit être installé dans la voiture pour vérifier s’il peut être correctement installé et utilisé dans la voiture concernée. Safety, use and travel
• Before purchase, each child safety seat should be installed in the car to check whether it can be properly installed and used in a given car. Matching the child safety seat model to the car type is one of the most important safety criteria. The seller’s assistance during the first installation also guarantees that the installation will be fully correct.
• Remember that parents are always responsible for the safety of the child while driving.
, Never leave the child in the safety seat unattended in the car or outside it.
• Never hold your child on your lap while the car is in motion.
• The safest place for your child while travelling is the back seat of the car.
• Before each trip, make sure that the seat belts are not damaged or twisted.
• When the child safety seat is installed, the rear seat backrest must be locked and cannot move.
• Before each trip, make sure that the Avionaut Cosmo child safety seat has not been pinched in the door or exposed to the movement of luggage or the seatbackrest.
• Make sure all luggage in the car is securely attached.
• Do not use the Avionaut Cosmo child safety seat without upholstery, as it is part of the child safety system.
• Take short breaks during longer trips. Your child also needs movement.
• Always cover the child safety seat when you leave the car parked in a sunny place. The upholstery as well as themetal and plastic parts can get extremely hot and burn your child.
• Always secure the child in the safety seat by fastening the child with the harness belts. also when using the safety seat outside the car.
• Make sure that the harness belts are properly fastened so that the child is correctly positioned in the seat.
• We do not recommend buying used child safety seats-you can never be sure of their hîstory. However, if you decide to buy a used child safety seat, choose one whose use history is known.
• Do not use the Cosmo child safety seat for more than 10years.
• Replace your child safety seat if it has been involved in an accident.
• Do not make any modifications to the child safety seat. They may cause partial or total loss of product safety.
• The child safety seat must always be secured in the car, even if no child is carried in it.
• The manufacturer takes into account the fact that the childsafety seat can leave dents in the upholstery of the vehicle seat. This is unavoidable due to the requirement of tight fitting of the safety seat. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by this. Make sure that the beits are properly fastened so that the child is correctly positioned in the seat.
• Harness belts holding the child cannot be used without covers. Make sure that you can place a maximum of one finger between the harness and the child 11 cml. lf this distance is greater, tighten the harness,
• Adjust them so that the height of the seal°s harness belts puts them parallel to the level of the child’s shoulders. REMEMBER: Each child has different body proportions - check the belt position in relation to the shoulders on a regular basis. This is necessary to maintain the child’s safety in the seat,
• lf you want to protect your child from the sun, attach and unfold the sun visor. The visor is apart of the child safety seat,
• Use the Avionaut Cosmo child safety seat when your child is between 40 cm and 87 cm tall and weighs not more than 13 kg. When installing the Avionaut Cosmo seat, use the seat facing forwards, which is equipped with three-point safety belts, the belts should be tightened and pulled through all points of the seat marked in green. Instructions for the correct installation can be found in this manual and on the Cosmo sticker, which is located on the side of the seat,
• Use only a child safety seat facing forward that ,s equipped with three•point safety belts in accordance with the ECE R16 standard.
• Test the correct installation of the child safety seat. If one of the LEDs lights up red, correct the seat installation and
perform the test again. Do this until the green LED lights up. It shall be recommended that any straps holding the restraint to the vehicle should be tight, that any support-leg should be in contact with the vehicle floor, that any straps or impact shields restraining the child should be adjusted to the child’s body, and that straps should not be twisted
Maintenance and hygiene
1. The upholstery of the Avionaut Cosmo child safety seat can be machine washed at temperatures up to 30°C.
2. Other elements of the safety seat can be washed with soap and a soft sponge.
3. Keep your child safety seat clean. Do not use any moisturising agents or aggressive cleaning agents.
4. Do not use anylubricants, harsh chemicals or moisturisers for moving parts or other parts of the seat.
Environment
• Keep plastic packaging parts out of reach of the child to avoid the risk of suffocation.
• The batteries powering the information panel placed in the base of the child safety seat are subject to proper disposal.
• For reasons of environmental protection, after using the seat, please dispose of it in the appropriate waste management facility, in accordance with applicable local regulations.

Warranty
• The Avionaut Cosmo child safety seat is covered by a 24-month warranty.
• We hereby assure you that the product has been manufactured in accordance with current EU requirements regarding safety and quality standards and that at the time of purchase the product is free from manufacturing and material defects.
• The warranty is valid in the country of purchase and is satisfied by the authorised distributor.
• The warranty covers all manufacturing defects in regard to the materials and workmanship, provided that the product is used in accordance with the user’s manual, under normal conditions, by the first end- user and within 24 months from the date of purchase.
Avionaut assumes responsibility for the repair or replacement of the defective product, but the guarantor decides about the choice of how to remove the defect and process the complaint.
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by daily use, such as the wear of fabric as well as the natural loss of colours and deterioration of the materials resulting from the normal ageing of the product.
• The warranty also does not apply in the event of damage to the product due to accidental damage, non-observance of the user’s manual, improper use, damage due to negligence, fire, contact with liquid or other external causes.
• At the time of filing a complaint, the Avionaut Cosmo child safety seat must have all labels or an identification number and may only be serviced by a person authorised to do so.
Do you want to file a complaint?
• Do you want to file a complaint? When you see a defect and want to file a complaint, please contact the seller from whom you purchased the Avionaut Cosmo seat. When making a complaint, you must provide proof of purchase that must be made within 24 months prior to the service request.
• If it is necessary to send the product to a service centre, you should return the product to the distributor or seller. At the same
time, the shipping method and its costs should be agreed on, because in the absence of such agreement, the guarantor may refuse to cover the shipping costs. Damage and/or defects that are not covered by our warranty or consumer rights, and/or damage and/or defects of the product not covered by our warranty may be removed at the agreed fee.
• Replace your child safety seat with a new one if it has been involved in an accident. To do this, you will need: a note from the police regarding the accident, a photo from an accident with a visible seat or information from the police about this fact, proof of purchase, confirmation from the insurer of not including the child safety seat in the insurance claim, the warranty card and sending the seat, which was involved in the accident to us.

• The consumer has rights in accordance with relevant legislation, which may vary from country to country. This warranty does not affect consumer rights subject to relevant national legislation.
