Senior Day Trips & Outings (Combined Enrichment Center & Longview Recreation Center) December: Vince Gill & Amy Grant Christmas at the Ryman Get in the Christmas spirit with us as we head to Nashville’s very own Ryman Auditorium to see a matinee show of Amy Grant and Vince Gill’s Christmas. This annual show is one of Music City’s favorite traditions and is the Grammy winning husband and wife’s favorite shows of the year. Reg. The museum, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky features over 80 Corvettes in periodic settings, including mint classics, one-of-a-kind prototypes, and modern day wonders of engineering. We will also stop for lunch at local favorite, Maraih’s. Reg. This small venue, located in the Green Hills area of Nashville, is one of the world’s preeminent listening rooms. It has gained worldwide recognition as a songwriter’s performance space where the “heroes behind the hits” perform their own songs. After the show at the Bluebird Cafe, we will head over to Swetts Restaurant. Fine food since 1954, a Nashville favorite that represents three generations of an African-American family owned restaurant. Defiantly a place to enjoy good home style, southern cooking. The cost of the trip ($10) covers activity fee/transportation. The show at the Bluebird Cafe is Free. Lunch at Swetts is Dutch treat. Reg.
