Over the past year we have seen a significant growth in activity to ensure our organisation remains up to speed and fit for purpose. This has required investment in infrastructure, data intelligence capability, clinical and cultural leadership, and programme design and implementation resource.

We have also committed to the major project of bringing our finance capability in-house and have successfully moved into the transition phase of this project. Our new and improved financial reporting and analysis tools will provide better visibility of the true cost to deliver our programmes and services to achieve the desired outcomes.

The investments we are making across all of these functions are necessary to support the organisational growth and maturity needed to deliver our health strategy and remain agile and responsive. The end goal remains firmly and squarely on achieving equity for Māori and improving the health and wellbeing of our communities through continued high quality support to our network, up-todate technology and tools, mature health intelligence and strong clinical leadership. We are very fortunate to have the expertise across all our teams to help us achieve this goal.
