Position Title: Digital Systems Coordinator My position ensures that my colleagues at the WBOP PHO use the technology available to them to maximize their efficiency. This frees them up to provide, or support, front line services to our organisation and population. My position also identifies service requests and problems that the Data & Digital team can work on to ensure continuous process improvement. I also assist with planned equipment replacement, the rollout of new technology and provide general support to the Digital & Data Team. I report to and support the Chief Information Officer.
The everyday mahi The focus of this role is the effective support, of user and the hardware and software that they use at WBOP PHO. Tasks will include: •
Answering ServiceDesk phone and logging calls
•
Addressing user needs in a timely manner
•
Working with the organisation to ensure that video and videoconference facilities are working, and their use optimised
•
Training of new employees on our systems, equipment and its use.
•
In conjunction with the Digital Systems Administrator, build and configure new laptops, desktops and other IT equipment as required.
•
Maintain excellent documentation of processes that you are responsible for – including known fixes and workarounds.
•
Manage cell phone allocation and support users in their use
•
Continuously look for better ways for us to work and suggest improvements and upgrades
•
Documentation of current configurations and ensuring that documentation is complete and up to date.
•
Endeavour to improve technical skills by working with Digital Systems Administrator with a view to improving your technical knowledge – and being able to provide some cover for when they are absent.
•
Provide technical assistance wherever it is required at WBOP PHO.
•
From time to time I will need to coordinate technology use for after-hours training (mostly via ZOOM but sometimes in person)
Outcomes I’m responsible for •
My position ensures that WBOP PHO staff use the IT resources to optimise their performance.
•
ServiceDesk incidents and Service Requests are logged, prioritised, actioned and, where appropriate escalated.
•
Desktop computing platform is up to date, stable, secure and useable
•
MedTech (Practice Management Systems used by WBOP PHO)
•
Desktop software used by the organisation is appropriately Licenced
I’ll bring to the role •
Sound Microsoft desktop management experience
•
Some understanding of Cisco data network infrastructure
•
Good process documentation skills and methodical approach
•
Excellent Office365 skills (both as a user and in configuring and managing the environment)
•
An agile approach, great can-do attitude, flexibility to change and open to new ideas
•
Great communication skills
•
Good organisation and prioritisation – ensuring that the most important jobs are completed first.
•
MedTech32 support experience would be an advantage
