‘NORTH EAST NEGRONI’ Damian Kellegher, Travel Coordinator Ingredients Campari 25ml Beefeater gin 25ml Martini Rosso 25ml Orange 1, peeled, to garnish Method Pour the Campari, gin and Martini over ice in a rocks glass or tumbler, and garnish with orange peel.
‘ESPRES-SOPH MARTINI’ Sophie Hardy, Rewards, Recognition and Communications Advisor Ingredients For the sugar syrup; 100g golden caster sugar For the cocktail; ice 100ml vodka 50ml freshly brewed espresso coffee 50ml coffee liqueur (we used Kahlua) 4 coffee beans (optional)
Method Start by making the sugar syrup. Put the caster sugar in a small pan over a medium heat and pour in 50ml water. Stir, and bring to the boil. Turn off the heat and allow the mixture to cool. Put 2 martini glasses in the fridge to chill. Once the sugar syrup is cold, pour 1 tbsp into a cocktail shaker along with a handful of ice, the vodka, espresso and coffee liqueur. Shake until the outside of the cocktail shaker feels icy cold. Strain into the chilled glasses. Garnish each one with coffee beans if you like.
‘VIRGIN MARY’ MOCKTAIL Rachel McCourt, Marketing Advisor Ingredients 2 ice cubes 150ml tomato juice ½ lemon, juice only 6 dashes Worcestershire sauce 3 dashes Tabasco sauce Pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper Celery stick and lemon wedge, for garnishing Method In a tall glass, pour the tomato juice over the ice, add the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, tobacco, salt and pepper and stir. Serve with a stick of celery and wedge of lemon. Tip: want to make this a Bloody Mary? Add 50mls of vodka!
