WELCOME TO THE GERSEMI WINTER 2009 COLLECTION
Gersemi is the equestrian fashion brand for women who want to combine style with their passion for horses. This premium fashion brand was named after the Scandinavian Goddess, Gersemi who was daughter of the Gods Frejya and Odr. She inherited her mother’s great beauty and strength - Frejya was Queen of the Valkyries and the Goddess of Love, Fertility and Desire. Gersemi was reputed to be so stunning that the Scandinavian race chose to use her name to describe riches or treasure. Blonde and beautiful, tall and untouchable with great inner strength she lends her great beauty as inspiration for this stunning collection of stylish equestrian fashion. Inside the pages of this new magazine we will give you a preview of the Gersemi Autumn/Winter 2009 collection. The magazine gives you hints and tips on the season’s key trends, what colours to wear and what styles are a must have for your wardrobe. We give you an insight into other icons of Scandinavian design as well as highlighting the beauty of a winter wonderland. The New Gersemi Website Like all great style brands – Gersemi has a wonderful website that is designed to give customers all the information they need about the new collections for the season. The Home Page features a slideshow of the new season’s most stunning Gersemi pieces. From here you can go directly to the Collection and see each individual item in every colour option – in close up so those all important details are very clear. There is a page that shows the Gersemi Essentials – these are stock items that no girl or retailer should be without which include, basics such as undergarments and the ubiquitous white competition breeches, plus a range of other great essentials.

GERSEMI 2009 FASHION TRENDS
Jersey Girl Jersey is the staple of any style conscious wardrobe and is just perfect for relaxing, riding or shopping! This season the key word is adornment - graphic prints, embroidery and buttons are all the rage. Elegant pearl buttons add delicate detail to simple jersey tops and compliment sleeves and necklines wonderfully.
Puff-Daddy When it comes to outerwear this season, staying warm is a high priority, looking good is simply a bonus! Choose from light weight padding or the luxury of feather/down filled styles and slip into a Gersemi jacket to ease you through a chilly day. Even consider adding a touch of glamour with hi-shine fabrics, in tempting Toffee shades. These jackets are certainly the piece de résistance of the collection.
Fashionable knits
Ravishing in Raspberry The world of fashion is dripping in colour this season, with Raspberry emerging as this season’s must have colour. Splashed throughout the Gersemi fashion range from accessories through to hoodies, jackets and coats, you will be sure to have that “just-stepped off-the-catwalk” feeling. Brighten-up your wardrobe this season and be ‘Berry, Berry’ stylish!
Sexy Stripes There is no escaping stripe this season but forget traditional monochrome and welcome Flint, Anthracite, Pine, Raspberry, Toffee and Forest. Carefully considered design successfully flatters and enhances the figure, with variety in styling and detail making for an effortless look in the saddle.
Winter means keeping warm but looking cool, with knitwear the essential ingredient to every winter wardrobe. This season’s knits can be worn skinny rib and figure hugging or super size and layered. Functional knits combining performance technology ensure style and warmth for the ultimate winter weather solutions.

Breeches are available in various fabrics and weights but unlike Gersemi, few brands can say they offer the nearest thing to designer denim. The Sunna style, pictured here in timeless fashionable and functional black denim feature contrast top stitching that are high on looks and even higher on comfort.
Want to know what is in fashion this season. That’s easy! It’s all about fake fur. After making a minor impact on the catwalk last winter, fur is back on the scene and this time it’s big! Subtle trims and details are the key to elegant style in the Gersemi range.
Access-orise All Areas Dressing to impress means accessorising looks with strong statement pieces. Try and keep them co-ordinated, keeping your base layers plain and create interest with flashes of colour and pattern. Hats, scarves and gloves are a must have for all riders and with chunky oversized scarves, wrap over hoods and matching hats complete with fur bobbles the combinations are endless.

Saab The Swedish premium car brand SAAB, which in English is translated to ‘Swedish Aircraft Company’, has made a business out of producing fun-to-drive vehicles combining its Swedish design principles of form and function with responsible performance since the first car was launched in 1947. Did you know that… Saab also translated these Swedish design values to clothing by launching a Pure Bio Power Eco Clothing Collection. Launched in 2008 at an exclusive pre-New York Auto Show party SAAB also launched it’s 9-X Bio Hybrid concept showing what a “green” compact car from SAAB could look like in the future.
Bang and Olufsen Bang & Olufsen is renowned worldwide for its exclusive and highly desirable range of luxury audio, video and multimedia products. This Danish brand was founded in 1925 by Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen. In the 2008/09 annual Coolbrands survey Bang & Olufsen came in fourth, beating powerful brands such as Google and Rolex. Training & Teaching Coat
Waterproof Wrapping
Not everyone rides horses – some just stand on the ground and shout to those people who do ride – hence us designing the perfect all weather solution for the Trainers out there. The down filled, waterproof, windproof fully functional coat called “Gambler” has tons of technical details and is the warmest coat that every serious trainer cannot afford to be without this winter. ¾ length, with deep pockets, a removable hood this unisex garment is of the highest specification.
Gersemi Waterproof jackets are designed for exposure to all the elements and they are so stylish you’ll be wearing them whether it rains or not. As well as being waterproof they are also windproof, breathable and flexible and all are indentified in store by a special swing tag. Gersemi’s technical fashion items have something for everybody. Attention to detail and functionality is of prime concern and the many pockets for sugar or cell phone, zip fastenings in all the right places and little designer touches make Gersemi waterproof jackets fashionably practical. This season’s must have jackets are available in shades of Anthracite, Thunder and Raspberry - don’t get caught in the rain without one!

Girls in the Hood The hoodie is a really great garment; practical, comfortable and warm - a great layering piece. The Gersemi hoodie in 3 fab colours has large front pockets and the hood has a drawstring to adjust the opening. In an easy to wear lightweight polyester/Spandex mix this top is an essential bit of kit for any rider. Wear over T’s and under waistcoats or jackets for a sporty style.
Gersemi breeches are perfect for all riding disciplines and they offer an incredible combination of style, comfort and durability. This winter they are in a great range of colours to complement the main clothing collection, including Asphalt, Toffee, Forest, Navy and White. Gersemi classic breeches are available in two different styles – Saga or Freya. Both styles have the option of either a full faux leather seat or with self fabric knee patches instead. Whether finishing the stable chores, riding in the ring, or riding out on a trail the feeling is that of complete freedom, as you are not restricted anywhere. Gersemi breeches are so comfortable, you feel as though you’re wearing a second skin. The above ingredients ensure an outstanding performance whilst engaging in your favourite sport.
Go-Get-Them Gloves Gersemi has introduced a winter glove collection that ensures your hands get the very best in VIP treatment. For everyday riding and winter chores, the Gersemi Functional Waterproof Glove is a must. Available In black or a two tone grey/black this fabric is designed to keep out the wind, rain and cold but gives you plenty of feel for riding. If you want a classic Deerskin riding glove then opt for the Deerskin Winter Glove with extra insulating properties to keep the hands extremely warm. The Crochet Glove, reminiscent of the traditional string gloves worn by stylish motorists of the 50’s, feature heavy crochet cotton available in either racing green or black and soft, malleable Tan leather palms. Whether a rider, owner or spectator, we recommend these gloves as your number one winter essential.
