China’s team Tyloo won USD30000 and secured a place in the offline qualifier for the next CS:GO Major Championship

orld’s number twelve and Asia’s number one team TyLoo of China bagged the USD30000 (about RM130,082) top prize after three days of intense battle in the CS:GO Minor Championship ASIA at Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios jointly organised by eGG Network and PGL. Australian’s Team Renegades and China’s Team VG CyberZen who came in second and third took home USD15000 (RM65,041) and USD5000 (RM21,680) respectively. The winner and runner-up also secured a place in the offline qualifier for the next CS:GO Major. The upcoming ELEAGUE Major Championship in Atlanta, USA, will be the tenth CS:GO Major Championship in CS:GO history. A total of eight top teams across Asia Pacific took part in the CS:GO Minor Championship

In an attempt to educate the society through films, the Johor Bahru Film Festival 2016 (JBFF 2016) came up for its second year with a good list of local and international films. 14 highly selected awardwinning international movies from Nusantara, Asia, South Asia and Europe were showcased, and this year’s JBFF 2016 gave a creative insight into feelings, problems and circumstances faced by people in their respective countries. JBFF 2016 curator Hassan Muthalib said the festival promoted cultural diversity among the people and also celebrated filmmakers around the world who struggled to make such a beautiful and meaningful films for everyone to experience. “Today if you could have seen what cinema has become, you will not just mention the stories but also the filmmakers.
