Galvanized steel doors with a G40 coating are highly effective at handling the challenges of harsh environments, especially coastal conditions. This specific coating involves applying 0.40 oz/sq ft. of zinc, creating a protective layer that prevents corrosion in demanding environments and enhances rust resistance.
PRIMED SURFACE Our smooth steel doors feature a durable baked-on white polyester primer on the exterior and an epoxy coating on the interior. In contrast, the Norwood textured steel door comes with a distinctive beige primer tailored for stain.
