The Maine Film Center presents impactful programs that educate, entertain and enrich our community. From 42 years of screening award-winning films at Railroad Square Cinema, and 23 years hosting of the Maine International Film Festival, to new, inspiring initiatives like the Maine Student Film & Video Conference, your support is critical to ensuring we continue to be Maine’s center for independent film.

In fact, we repay about 50 percent of every ticket sold for the rights to bring you the films you discover here, and ticket sales only cover 40 percent of our nonprofit’s operations. Each membership is a sign of support for our programming, our mission, and a vibrant film culture in Maine. We’ve saved you a seat.
