The company has a showhome made to a standard Competitive Homes design demonstrating the capabilities of the brand. The three-bedroom plus study home is 174sqm.
It uses Linea and Axom cladding, Coloursteel roofing and Winstone gib-board. “We have already built several homes using this same design,” says Hinds. “It has proved to be really popular,” he says. He believes he has found a niche in the market for competitively priced homes on the Kapiti Coast and he says that at present the company is “flat out”. He presently has four builds on the go with another eight on the books due to start next year. The company will build a new showhome next year in Tristram Court which Hinds says will hopefully be open to the public by March.
