Firm moves on to next phase in rebuild Kelly Deeks Having been involved in residential earthquake repair work since September 2010, Christchurch’s Lilly Builders is now moving into the next phase with a fresh focus on opt-out work, new house builds, residential alterations and additions, commercial fit-outs and factory facelifts.
Lilly Builders was established in 1989 by Brett and Paula Lilly. Over the past 25 years the company has worked alongside architects, home owners, and commercial and residential property developers, building and managing a wide variety of projects. Some highlights include several multimillion dollar houses built on the Port Hills and in Rangiora, and Lilly Builders has also
recently started an interior and exterior fit-out on a large commercial building on the corner of Fitzgerald Avenue and St Asaph Street. Brett Lilly says as a trade qualified builder and licensed building practitioner, he keeps up to date with the latest building requirements and techniques, and he prides the company on its level of high quality workmanship.
Lilly Builders’ employees are either tradequalified, or working their way through their apprenticeship. Lilly Builders specialises in high quality architectural work, and other building services the company offers include office and shop fit outs, and the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) approved Chimney Replacement Programme.
