It's GREAT to learn that someone else has a 'working unit.' FWIW, mine's still 'running fine & keeping time', ... ... but I DO wish that Eyal, et al, would post something/ANYthing about the D-D D Debacle! _______________________________ ⌘ _______________________________

One day of wearing the watch, the pin next to the case fell out. I took it back to the jeweler a and $12.00 later the bracelet was fixed. I have worn it for two weeks and it works fine. It occurred to me that this may be the most controversial watch Invicta has ever made that I know of, making it more valuable. Enjoy yours. trigger View Public Profile Send a private message to trigger Find all posts by trigger Add trigger to Your Contacts #27 Today, 11:20 AM

Sweet watch Toolman, gotta love it...mine (#026/800 S/S) has performed flawlessly and is one of my all time favo favorites in my collection...not to mention the most accurate. I know you'll enjoy it for many years to come.

Toolman, Glad you hung in there and were patient. I was lucky and got a good one right off the bat, and like you said, it is now my favorite. You don't see any of them kicking back on the Shop Invicta Page, and I don't think you ever will. The guys who grabbed them knew what they had. Good luck with it! DD has their rep but Invicta has to protect their rep too. I think future sales may depend on it. A rep is a very important thing to have in the watch industry. __________________

GOOD to hear that positive feedback concerning the Speedway ...It's beginning to sound like the defective pieces were a fluke in the system.. __________________

Glad to hear some people got "good ones!!" Congrats! I was thinking about picking one up, but don't they ALL need the washer to raise the dial makeing them a ticking timebomb if they don't have it???? karns944 View Public Profile Send a private message to karns944 Find all posts by karns944 Add karns944 to Your Contacts #32 Today, 02:47 PM Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 210

All the DD Speedways have the same problem they just haven't manifested themselves yet. Anyone who has one and doesn't send it in for repairs is asking for trouble down the line. Just a fluke .............. now that's funny I will very surprised if Invicta doesn't issue a total recall !!!! waswell View Public Profile Send a private message to waswell Find all posts by waswell Add waswell to Your Contacts #34 Today, 05:20 PM

My point is WG's shouldn't be stating it's a "fluke" as they might steer so someone meone in the wrong direction. We all need to wait for Invicta. Congrats on your 5 years but what does that have to do with anything other than your ego? From day 1 mine has worked flawlessly and I LOVE it . I bought the Two-Tone and I have not heard anyone have an issue with that model. I hope it stays that way .
