Got my Russian Diver back from Invicta Service -- 15 weeks

I'm glad to report I got my summery yellow Russian Diver back! It's the version with small diamonds around the bezel. It took quite a while -- over 15 weeks -- but it seems to be in good working order. They had to completely replace the original movement, which was defective. Rebecca did a great job informing me of the status when I inquired after about the 12 week mark (I expected it would take at least that long, and I was right). It's like I have a brand new watch -- I will enjoy wearing it this summer!

Good you got it back, but what the heck takes them so long? Sent a knife to Case in Bradford PA. Had it fixed and back in 11 days. Sent a MAF sensor to Bosch in Germany. Had its replacement in hand in a week. Sent an incorrect textbook to Amazon. Had the right one in 4 days. Even if I buy the "let it sit 2 weeks for testing", how is 11 more acceptable? Case, Bosch, and Amazion have stateside manufacturing and/or warehouses. Invicta has to go back to the Swiss Manufacturer, in Switzerland, in order to repair the watch. __________________

I think no matter what happens it shouldn't take any longer than 4 or 5 weeks...TOPS!!! Besides, are you seriously telling me either a) Invicta has to send everything to the factory or b) that they have nowhere else? Still doesn't take 15 weeks. Rolex and Omega might take 4.
