(Another one being foot-in-mouth-itis.) I spoke far too openly, and I truthfully said things publicly which aught to have been discussed privately. Still, what's done is done... so no sense in regret. (The posts were removed out of respect-- not remorse). I met with MZ Berger and Daniel in NYC following that post, and we discussed many things (including my very vocal reservations). After having spent several days with Daniel and the entire new team, I truly believe in what they are setting out to accomplish. (I would not have agreed to represent the brand if I didn't.) This will undoubtedly prove to be a new era full of exciting developments and opportunities. You'll see __________________

The past is the past. When all parties involved in the new venture come to an agreement to move forward together, that is all that counts as far as I am concerned. In today's climate, any new or reinvented business has my sopport in being successful. New successful companies only help the economy. Each particular company will stand tall on its merits, or will fall flat on its face if its business model is deficient. The past history of that company is not my concern. All the luck in the world to you Avi.I have no ----- watches in my collection. Maybe as the new ambassador, you can change that!!! caneman View Public Profile Send a private message to caneman Find all posts by caneman Add caneman to Your Contacts #60 Today, 03:16 PM Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Springfield, MA Posts: 594

The brand in question demanded that the management here have nothing to do with them. The Forum is just doing was requested. Hopefully the new owners will get that fixed soon. __________________ Corvettes & Watches

Obviously things have gone stale but one thing about every watch from the brand in the past was that they were built VERY well, looked fantastic and were SUPPOSEDLY exclusive- the last part didn't mean a lot to me, we are not talking about Rolex here, but it obviously ruffled some feathers and many customers were lost. I own 14 of them and look forward to adding to this total. __________________ The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money. ...Alexis de Tocqueville after travelling to America 1834 Z4MC View Public Profile Send a private message to Z4MC

Good to see you posting here Avi, I always enjoyed the designs of this "certain brand" (some of the business practices ... not so much). I'm very much looking forward to the shows and hoping for some good prices. Will be interesting to see what discussions take place here in the following weeks. __________________
