College-level CTE prepares students for in-demand careers, and allows them to take on less debt.

CTE prepares students to be college- and careerready by providing core academic skills, employability skills and technical, job-specific skills.

American adults were more likely to agree that two-year public colleges – where CTE is primarily taught at the postsecondary level – prepare learners for success than other types of institutions.
