lizabeth Centenari got the bug for the image business in grade school when she helped answer phones at her mother’s talent agency. She went on to graduate from the University of Kentucky and landed a job at a large agency out West, eventually becoming its youngest head booker at the age of 23. Today, as a principal of Washington’s top agency for models and stylists, Elizabeth has plenty of responsibilities. “More often than not there’s a lastminute fire drill – the lead model doesn’t show because her 300-pound pet orangutan turned her punch buggy on its side. That's when the real magic show begins.” Because of her long hours and unpredictable lifestyle, she tries to keep her wardrobe simple. “Typically, I wear a black T-shirt, black jacket (preferably Dolce & Gabbana), jeans and ballet flats.”

s the head of a successful box manufacturing company that does $42 million in sales annually, former investment banker and Harvard Business School grad Paul Centenari has plenty on his plate. In addition to overseeing 200 employees in Maryland and Connecticut, Centenari is also an adventure junky/athlete. “Elizabeth lets me take a week every winter to go heli-sking in British Columbia. I used to do triathlons until my body fell apart. So every June I swim 4½ miles across the Chesapeake Bay with 700 others. For elite swimmers, it’s a race, but for a select few like me, it’s a near drown.” As such, he keeps his style “casual and business chic.”
