There are two Walking Society expeditions each term. Areas visited are generally within a two hour drive of Warwick. These may include the southern Peak District and the nearer parts of Wales, such as the Berwyns and the Black Mountains. Our routes are chosen for good views over attractive and varied countryside. We expect to walk about 912 miles during the day. During the winter months the expeditions and journey times are shorter. Once the examinations are over in the summer term we usually have a longer day in a mountainous area such as Snowdonia.
