A brilliant mid-week event as part of The Cadeby Speakeasy Club, you are invited to learn the skills required to create your own balanced malt. Guests will try and recreate the Glenfiddich 15 Year Old by using a range of cask strength samples. You can then take your own whisky creation home in a bottle. Hosted on Thursday 21st July by brand ambassadors from Glenfiddich the evening will be split into two 60-minute sessions: 7pm to 8pm and 8.45pm to 9.45pm. Speakeasy events take place every month but sell out quickly. Please remember to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
SALSA NIGHT
Cask Corner 3 Cleveland Street every Monday, 8.30pm to 11.30pm
Salsa at the Masons Arms (DN1) Every Wednesday 7.30pm onwards
Calling all vinyl enthusiasts! This evening is an opportunity for you to come and share your passion and your music with like-minded people. Each night will have a theme decided at the previous event. Expect lively discussions and friendly debates amongst fellow vinyl junkies. Industry expert and local legend Simon Saynor of Notorious Aardvark Record Shop and Sine FM will also be in attendance.
Our fearless leader, puts his heart, soul and immense passion for salsa into teaching his classes and organising his events, whether it is an intimate private class or teaching to the masses. It’s hard not to get carried away and completely absorbed in salsa when at one of his classes. He loves nothing more that imparting his knowledge into eager salseros, seeing them progress from shy first-timers at the back of the warm-up into salsa addicts who have to be dragged off the dance floor at the end of the night. When he is not wowing the ladies (and some men) with his great style (bum wiggling!) he’s... well, he’s dancing.
