77 sketches
This is my 77 sketches I did for my icon.The word I had was tool,So I drew a lot of sketches of different tools to help me complete the final icon.
In my mind tool is a device or implement, especially one held in the hand.So I drew a lot of kitchen tools, painting tools and repair tools. I also drew some tools that are often used in computers, such as pen tools and brush tools.
This is my frisr final icon.After completing concept 1, I thought the icon in the upper right corner was more interesting and more expressive of the pen tool, so I finally chose it.
This is my second final icon.After completing concept 2, I thought the icon on the middle was more interesting, but I changed the color to make it brighter.
This is my third final icon.After completing concept 3, I thought the icon in the upper left corner was more interesting, but I made some adjustments to make it more comparative.
100 Ligatures sketches This is my 100 ligatures sketches. This work is for my final ligatures, so I try my best to combine different letters to make them into different interesting patterns.
100 Ligatures sketches
Ligatures 1 This is my first final ligatures. The font of both letters is Futura. This ligatures is compose of the letters A and V. I filled the negative space in the ligatures with black to make it more interesting .
Ligatures 2 This is my second final ligatures. The font of both letters is Futura. This ligatures is compose of the letters Z and number 4. I put the two elements in different places to make them into interesting shapes.
Ligatures 3 This is my third final cubes.The font of both letters is Franklin Gothic. This ligatures is compose of the letters L and t. I connect the first half of the two letters to make it look like a dancer.
Cubes 1
This is my first final cubes.The top of the cube is made up of two half hearts. This makes it a complete heart, and this heart is made up of the letters O and Q and the numbers 2 and 9.
Cubes 2
This is my third second cubes.It's a pyramid. The pattern on the pyramid is made up of the letters V and aA. the pattern is coherent on the pyramid, which makes it look more like a whole.
Cubes 3
This is my third final cubes.It's a strange cube. The pattern on the cube is made up of the letters o, I and 0. It looks like an eye.
